A woman who has been identified as Cindy from Texas is reported to have given birth to a baby boy in the bathtub in her home. Cindy was alone when labor began, and she didn’t even know she was pregnant.

Cindy Didn’t Even Know She Was Pregnant

This was strange to her, as it would have been to any woman giving birth for the first time without assistance and not even knowing she was pregnant. Cindy revealed that although she never felt like she had to push, at some point it felt like her body was pushing on its own. She described the occurrence as a brief moment where she went from being oblivious to her condition, to holding her newborn without any knowledge of how to go about handling immediate newborn care and safety. The baby weighed five pounds at the Mother’s Day weekend. Cindy and her spouse named him Jaxon.

Had Not Missed Any Periods

Cindy revealed that she had been bleeding every month, and so it seemed as though she was still having her monthly period. This was one of the reasons the couple was unaware she was pregnant. Although Cindy gained 10 pounds during her pregnancy, it never occurred to the couple that she might be pregnant.

The couple also revealed to the media that there was no sign, and no kicking during the pregnancy at all. Cindy explained she had been experiencing some cramping but had thought it was related to her menstrual cycle. The day she gave birth to her son she had experienced the cramps and decided to run herself a bath. She said this was what she normally did when she started experiencing the cramps. In less than an hour, she was holding her newborn in her hands. Cindy had no idea she would be learning some newborn care and safety tips as well as baby first bath tips in a few days to come.

Cindy, Her Spouse And Their New Lessons On Newborn Care And Safety

At the time of the incident, Cindy’s spouse, Chris was out of town visiting family. She called 911 after delivering her baby and was immediately transported to the hospital. Cindy had to break the news to her spouse on FaceTime. They revealed that they have made a baby registry and received assistance from loved ones. This has gone a long way to help the couple who had no prior planning and zero supplies in place for their baby boy. The couple revealed that they are still getting used to the fact that they are parents now. Being that this is their first child, we expect they are learning about newborn care and safety and following infant baby bath tips, along with a host of other parenting information.
